It is with much sadness that I share that on June 12, 2018 Marianne McManus passed away. Marianne was an inspiration to many who knew her, and she made her mark on this organization. She leaves a legacy of kindness and yet strong leadership.
The viewing is Sunday, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, Camp Hill, and the Mass will be Monday, at 10 a.m., at Good Shephard Catholic Church, Camp Hill. http://myersharnerfuneralhome.com/book-of-memories/3533553/mcmanus-marianne/obituary.php

Our mission is to offer, in an unbiased way, information about international issues and policies to our citizens to help them make informed judgments about their relations with neighbors in our global space.
Our local Association, while aligned with the national Foreign Policy Association, is independently governed by a local board of directors. Our local Association is non- profit and nonpartisan. It is funded by membership fees and donations.
Contributions to the Foreign Policy Association are deductible to the fullest extent of the law under section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS code.
What We Do
Association presents a series of eight monthly dinner meetings which
feature speakers selected for their experience or expertise on the
topics selected by the Board of Directors. The meetings are
usually conducted on the fourth Thursday of the month. A social
hour starts at 17:30 (5:30) PM, dinner is at 18:30 (6:30) PM, the
speaker begins promptly at 19:30 (7:30) PM, and a Q/A
session follows. The presentation ONLY is free and
open to the public. There is a small fee for the dinner.
The Association hosts a reception in November for the “International Fellows Class” at the U.S. Army War College. The Fellows are foreign military officers from more than 50 countries who spend a year studying with their U.S. military counterparts.
In May, the Association sponsors a visit to the U.S. State Department followed by a briefing at a foreign embassy from its ambassador. A corresponding ethnic luncheon is planned between the briefings.
“Great Decisions” program encourages small informal groups
to meet to discuss key issues from the National Association study
guide, Great Decisions.
